I'm a day late, but they aren't. These tulips bloom right on time ever since the Virginia Tech massacre-- no matter the weather, no matter what else is going in the garden, they always bloom on April 16... Since that very first day-- before I knew it had happened. Before that, for many years, the Deer always got to them first, and I had no tulips in that part of the garden... thinking of you Reema "little deer"...
